Messages to seniors from some fellow classmates

“To whom it may concern,
Try something new. Think outside the box. Step out of the boat and swim in the water. You have four years. Spend them happily outside with good people. Love everyone.” – Ben Boegehold

“The times you went out to eat ice cream rather than trash yourself. The times you relied on yourself to have fun. The witty days of elementary school, where a spelling test was a lot of work. The awkward days of middle school – trying to figure out what you wanted to do, as a definition of who you’d be.

You made it this far – why worry about what’s past for the sake of the future? Go forth with pride, class of 2008.” – Monika Bernotas

“Plan for the future, but don’t forget the present.” – Pete Konowski

“Do your homework-It’s the only thing that can save you from failing a class at times (specifically 4th quarter senior year)” – Sam Bacon

“Do some stupid things. Not only can they be great fun, they make the not-stupid things so much more enjoyable. When you look back on life, you should have a mix of moments that you laugh at because you were so silly and random, and moments you laugh at because the moment was so calculated.” – James Morgan-Delossa

“Just what happens happens, have no regrets.” – Madeline Newhall-Thayer

I feel I should add this, in regard to stupid things:

Tack/tape up a giant Totoro or other bizarre thing to the front of the Fine Arts building the night before your last day. Everyone’s expressions regarding it will be priceless.

That was a VERY stupid thing, by the way. Completely spur of the moment, raw stupidity.

And I’ll be damned if that wasn’t the most fun I had at WHS 4th quarter.
