1. So we heard that you think you look like Derek Zoolander. Why do you think that?
Well, our complexions really match up well, and I have mastered blue steel, ferrari, latigra, and I am currently working on magnum, but I shouldn’t even be talking about that one, it’s no where near perfection.

2. We hear that you are a Theater Arts student. Are you pursuing a dream to become a famous actor?
That hasn’t crossed my mind, but I mean its possible, ha, but yea, the things we learn in the class are easily applicable to everyday life. We are currently studying how to audition, and every time I will look for a job in the future, I will know how to do a good audition, even if it isn’t for a play.

3. Why do you think the Waytown Cosmo chose you to interview?
It is probably because I have a super cool last name that was in a song but spelt differently. “Vo-la-re” you have to say it out loud to notice that they sound the same though.

4. Would a fly without wings be called a walk?
No, I don’t think so. It is just a different fly, after all, its got the same stuff on the inside, and its what is on the inside that counts.

5. You have a twin sister. Who was born first?
That is a sensitive topic, but let me say that I am a chivalrous man and let her go first.

6. Is there a strong rivalry between you and your sibling? If so, please give us an example.
Well, I just recently beat her on a Spanish test, but she beat me on a math test Thursday, but I destroyed her on a Bio quiz the week before, but she gets me back and beats me on Spanish most of the time. I don’t really think there is much of a competition between us though.

7. We heard that the Seventeen Magazine is one of your favorites. What attracts you to this particular magazine?
Well, the magazine has a lot of beauty tips, and I don’t want any of my sisters reading them because that will cause guys to be attracted to them. I am a very protective brother, so I steal the magazine and throw it out.

8. Is there any particular advice that you get out of that magazine?
No, I don’t read them; I simply dispose of them, sometimes…

9. Considering your age (older than most freshmen), some say that you look young. How do you respond to this?
Wait, do I really look young? I don’t think I do. But actually one time I was visiting my sisters at UVM and this college girl waved to me and blew me a kiss. Later I kinda realized that she was doing it to the guy behind me, but that was after I waved back to her. Ha ha, oh well.

10. Are you an outstanding athlete? Please don’t be modest.
I am ok, I try really hard… I also play a lot of team sports and the teams that I play on have done really well, so I like to think that I contributed to that.

11. What is your favorite sport?
I don’t really have a favorite sport, but if I had to choose, it would be ski racing.

12. Who is your role model?
I don’t have a single role model; I idolize different people for different attributes. Derek Zoolander for his stunning looks, Bode Miller for his skiing ability, Lance for his motivation and endurance; there is a lot of people to look up to!

13. We heard that you have a cat that is a half raccoon. What is the story behind this?
Oh god, yah… it’s a long story. His name is Dipper, he’s four years old, weighs 22lbs, and eats with his paws… We found his mother in Vermont, the cat was surviving in a friend’s garage and weighed only 8lbs! We took the poor thing home with us, and for a while we actually thought it was a guy. When we went to the vet, they told us SHE was pregnant! Anyway, this is getting long…but one day I was making a sweet Lego car in my room and heard some weird noises coming from my closet and peeked my head in to see that she had given birth to three kittens! We gave two of them away and kept the runt-Dipper. He grew up to be the biggest, weirdest looking cat anyone has ever seen… We all assumed the stray cat must have gotten frisky with a raccoon cause she was so little and…ya no other explanation really fits…he must be half raccoon and his mother must have had a crazy time out there in that garage.

14. Do you find it odd that you have this pet?
Yea I do, but he is a funny cat, yesterday, when it was really hot, I walked upstairs to find him sprawled out on his back on the tiles of the bathroom with his arms and legs out wide. I joined him and it really worked! The heat wasn’t as noticeable.

15. What is your opinion on a freshman going out with a junior?
I personally think that when you look at real life, age doesn’t matter; people should date whom they like, and whom they are comfortable around. In some cases they are many years apart. High school has a tendency to separate too much based on grade. So, I mean, I am cool with certain family members dating juniors if you are implying about Christa and Alex.

16. What is the first thing that you said after you woke up yesterday morning?
I think I was yelling at Christa telling her it was my time for a shower.

17. Are you superstitious? If so, please give us examples of you being superstitious.
I am pretty superstitious, I go through similar routines before ski races and soccer games if I did well in the last one. If I know I have a really big race or game coming up, I will put aside my pair of lucky boxers after they get out of the wash.

18. We hear that you have older sisters. Can you briefly tell us about them?
I have two older sisters, Michelle is 22, and Nicolle is 20… they’re older and try and watch out for me and there’s some pretty funny things to say about that.

19. We hear that you are part of a secret society. Can you tell us some more about that?
If I told you then it would not be a secret…. you’re a tricky one, you thought I would answer that.

20. Do you rely on anyone’s advice?
Of course I do (who doesn’t). Like I said before, I have three sisters. I definitely go to them when I need advice sometimes.

21. People say you turn embarrassing things into hilarious things. What is your opinion on this? Any examples?
I don’t think they are hilarious, more awkward, but awkwardness can be funny too. Christa puts it well saying “you are the most awkward person I know!”, I guess its true, I thrive on awkwardness. I try to laugh at myself sometimes, its healthy.

22. According to your ex-girlfriend, this was the best moment during the relationship: “On Valentine’s Day, [David] pulled out a single red rose, and said, ‘Happy Valentine’s Day’. It was just perfect.” What inspired you to be so romantic?
I know how I would like my sisters to be treated by their boyfriends… it also isn’t that hard to figure out that girls like flowers.

23. What is your favorite body feature?
I think a lot of people will agree that its not about bits and pieces, it’s definitely the whole package.

24. Choose three adjectives that can describe you.
XY genotype/ 15/ Cancer (astrological sign-I’m not sick)

25. If you can go anywhere in the world for a vacation, where would it be and why?
I would go to the Alps, because they have spectacular skiing, and the Tour de France goes through there so it would be sweet to watch that.

26. What is your favorite band and why?
I don’t have a favorite…go ahead and make fun of me for it but I really do like country music.

27. What do you look for in a girlfriend?
I have to be comfortable around her…I would want her to feel confident and comfortable around me… I like a sense of humor too.
