Vlad really needs to calm down. In case you haven’t realised, Vampires don’t really exisit. Stephanie Meyer has every right to create her own vampire lore. How do you know that vampires don’t sparkle in the sunlight, have you met one?

i agree with “nobody”! you can’t get mad at people for liking a book (although yes SOME people do that it way too far) but if you are one of those people who just hate the book because others like it, then you should really think about what you’re saying
most people who dont like the book change their minds once they read it, so if your’e so against it and find yourself wondering why, maybe you should be smart enough to pick up the book and read it yourself

Twilight is a bottom of the barrel vampire romance and a moronic sexual abstinence allegory.

twilight is amazing! it’s a really good series that you should at least read. i think that people are being unfairly critical of it. after all, it’s a bestselling book for a reason. and it’s okay if people are obsessed with it-they like it and enjoy it. what’s wrong with that? i really liked the movie, too. and people that are complaining about twilight- it’s a fiction series. it’s not real. but we can still read and and like it. what’s wrong with that?

guys….twilight is a very good book. but it isn’t the meaning of life. it has sort of become a cult and EVERYONE is obsessed with it. it ISN’T THAT GREAT. don’t get me wrong, it was definitely good. but not to the level that people are bringing it.
and the movie was pretty darn awful.

Please, both of you learn to spell. The side-love with Jacob is irrelevant because she ends up with Edward. Also, I would not like to be as pathetic as any of these one-dimensional characters.

first off how deos the author research somthing that is not reality? from a creative standpoint she has every right to recreate her characters. Secondly if you read the books it would clearly become apparent that they do not call themselves vampires they feel that is a name that closley describes them. Third if you read further you would see it is not a straight forward love story but complicated when she falls in love wiht her bets friend jacob too. its a mazingly well written book and i recommend it to everyone who is interested in fiction

The Twilight books are an awful mess of garbage that has offended thousands of fans of vampire lore. Vampires do not sparkle in the sunlight, and the only vampire lore Italy has is when a vampire from somewhere else visits and leaves, or Anne Rice novels. The author did not research vampires at all before writing about them. Add this to the transparent plot and lack of character development, and you have the Twilight series. The one good use for these books is a bludgeoning tool. And for the love story, yes it exists. It is one of trashy romance novels, and as straightforward as a ruler. Damn the author for this garbage she has thrust upon the world, and all fans should see that these books are simply a trash fantasy conceived by a fool.
