Spring into the coffeehouse

Ben Wohlfarth

It’s that time of year again, folks. The time of year to go out into the wild and smell the roses, and to watch the trees slowly turn from parched and barren to vibrant and full of gleaming shades of green.

It’s also the time of year to attend the Spring Coffeehouse and hear an array of sub-par independent music played by your fellow classmates! Listen as they butcher the classics you know and love. Well no, in all seriousness, Amnesty’s Spring Coffeehouse is a great place to hear many aspiring, young bands play and also to congregate with your fellow schoolyard chums.

Not only will there be live music, but also plenty of free food and drinks, as well as endless petitions to sign to pass the time. The admission fee is $5 at the door and the event lasts from 7 P.M. until 9 P.M. So come join Amnesty International this Friday for some great tunes, food, and friends, all for a mere 5 bucks!
