Is your refrigerator running?
Before writing this response, I was in the kitchen with the goal of making a sandwich set in my mind. I walked over to the refrigerator and took out some ham, roast beef, American cheese, swiss cheese, salami, bologna, turkey and mustard. Remembering that I hate mustard, I turned around and put it away. I piled the different meats and cheeses on top of a roll I had just obtained from the bread drawer. I knew a tall glass of cold milk would go perfectly with such a sandwich so I went back to the refrigerator and grasped the milk jug. As soon as my fingers touched the surface of the milk jug, I knew something was wrong. It was luke-warm. I went back to my sandwich and took a bite. It was warm. Nobody wants to eat a cold-cut sandwich that is warm. I opened the refrigerator yet again and realized the light was not on. No my refrigerator is not running.
