New high school project breaks ground

Construction on the new high school broke ground on Tuesday, June 22nd. Wayland High School staff and the community at large came together just a day after the school year ended to celebrate the commencement of a project which has been in the works since 2002.

The Massachusetts School Building Committee Executive Director Kathleen Craven and Chairman Tim Cahill both spoke at the event, as did WHS principal Patrick Tutwiler, Superintendent Gary Burton, and State Representative Tom Conroy.
