25 Days of Cookies: Cherry-Almond Biscotti

On the third day of the 25 Days of Cookies, Lizzy suggests trying cherry-almond biscotti.

Biscotti has always been a favorite among members of my dad’s side of the family. My Italian grandmother has given this recipe her blessing, and we use it every year to make cookies for holiday parties.

Biscotti is great for dipping and tastes wonderful with coffee. In recent years, my mom has added her own flare to the biscotti by mixing chocolate chips (no more than ¾ of a cup) with the recipe. Enjoy!
