Warrior Weekly: Summer

width="470"
In his first blog of the season, Harry recaps the summer and welcomes his readers back to school.
Hey guys! Welcome to another year of Warrior Weekly. If you haven’t met me before, my name is Harry Falber, and I am an avid sports fan who loves anything and everything to do with sports. Every week I will keep you up to date with what’s new in Warrior Sports, as well as what’s happening in professional sports. This is my second year writing this blog, and I hope to incorporate new and exciting ideas to make it as fun to read as possible.

As a huge Boston sports fan, this summer has been the craziest I can remember. Since I wrote my last post, many, many things have happened. Here’s a quick recap:

The Bruins lost the Stanley Cup. That’s all I have to say about that.

The Celtics went through their biggest rebuild in team history. I am on board with every single move that was made this season. I may be wrong, but I fully believe that Mr. Kardashian (Kris Humphries) will be able to thrive in Boston. I was sad to see KG, Pierce and Doc leave the team, but I also am a realistic fan. I know when it is time to focus on the future, and that time is now.

The Patriots. Holy cow, the Patriots have been in the news quite a lot this off-season, haven’t they? If you have watched ESPN at all you will know what I am talking about. Tim “Lord and Savior Jesus Christ” Tebow made a quick appearance through Foxborough this summer, and ESPN was there to cover every single incomplete pass. But don’t worry Tim, I still believe in you. You’re a winner. There’s a reason the Pats got blown out in the one preseason game you didn’t play.

But, let’s get serious for a second. Aaron Hernandez. Raise your hand if you saw this coming. I certainly didn’t. I was shocked, and, for a few brief moments, I thought he was innocent. What an idiot this guy is. He threw his life away. I could go on and on about my opinions on this, but ESPN has pretty much tired me out of the story.

Now on to my favorite sports team, the Red Sox. Raise your hand if you saw this one coming. I knew they would be better than most people thought but not this good. This team is fun to watch again and has a great shot at winning the World Series. It is unbelievable how far a team can come in one year. It is so hard not to be in love with the Red Sox right now. I think their best is yet to come.

Fear not readers, I don’t only talk about professional sports. Once the Warrior teams start their seasons, you can get full recaps of games right here. This week both the new fall scoreboard as well as a fall sports preview will be up, so keep an eye out for that.

Finally, last year I ended each of my posts with a quote. Since it is a new year, I was wondering if I should try something new. If you have any ideas, leave them in the comments section, and I will be sure to add what you want into this blog.

I hope everyone had a great summer! Welcome back.
