Wandering Backpack: Liam Fay

Wandering Backpack asks what you would bring if you had 10 minutes to pack a bag with your most treasured items, knowing you wouldn’t be back for years.

Map: The White Mountains is one of the most amazing places, and I love hiking there. This is a map of the entire national forrest, and it means a lot to me.

Coin: Euro piece that I got when I traveled to Ireland. I’m very Irish, and I love my heritage. It’s something I like to remember and a place I would always like to go back to.

Band aids: I love first aid and being able to help people when they are hurt. I hope to go into some sort of medical profession.

Pocket knife: Very old pocket knife that I’ve always had, and it’s a tool I always like to have around me.

And Then There Were None by Agatha Christie: One of my favorite books. It’s one of the only mystery novels that I’ve read, but it’s one that I could read over and over again because of the subtleties in the text.

Matches: I love to play with fire, and it’s always nice to sit by a warm fire on a cold winter’s night drinking a cup of hot chocolate.
