Students are interviewed about the new restaurant, “Giacomo’s,” at the Wayland town center. It replaced Bertucci’s, which filed for bankruptcy in April 2018.

WSPN caught up with students and staff to see their reactions to two short films shown this morning. The documentary “Five Miles Astride the River: The Story of Wayland” was shown first and was produced by Pelham Island Pictures, a film production company run by two Wayland High School graduates, Zander Cowen and Jacob Sussman. The second short film was WHS graduate Rex Provost’s “Film Noir,” a short film paralleling the lives of an author and his character.
