Sunday’s graduation ceremony for the class of 2016 will be held inside the WHS field house instead of on the WHS football field due to a forecast of rain. Principal Allyson Mizoguchi announced the change in an email to the student body and parents Friday night.

In the email, Mizoguchi said that the high school will not distribute tickets and urged graduates to invite only five or six guests in order to prevent the field house from exceeding its official capacity. If the field house does exceed capacity, some guests may instead have to sit in the WHS auditorium, where a live WayCam broadcast of the event will play.

WayCam will stream the broadcast on their website as well.

Doors will open at 1:45p.m. and the ceremony will begin at 2:45p.m.
