The Family Promise club, started by junior Maeve Myles and sophomore Elena Liu, is running a cleaning supply drive for Family Promise MetroWest. Donations can be dropped off in a bin outside the Wayland High School main office. 
“As a club, we strive to help others and support local homeless families through the Family Promise Metrowest organization,” Myles said.

Two COVID-19 vaccines were approved by the FDA last December: the Pfizer vaccine on Dec. 11 and the Moderna vaccine on Dec. 18. The vaccine has been distributed to healthcare workers and residents of long term care facilities in Wayland.

Despite the fact that Wayland High School will not be conducting their annual midterm exams this year, Winter Week will still be happening to give students a chance to relax after finishing their first semester.

Following the announcement that current Superintendent Arthur Unobskey would no longer be working in Wayland after the 2020-2021 school year, the School Committee has worked hard to narrow the applicants down to a final three. The finalists will be able to virtually visit Wayland and converse with parents, faculty and students over Zoom, and a final decision will hopefully be made by the middle of January 2021.
