School canceled on March 19 due to inclement weather

As Winter Storm Ukko barrels through Wayland on Tuesday, March 19, the last day of winter, Wayland Public Schools will be closed.

This marks the fourth canceled school day in the 2012-2013 school year. Schools were closed for two days during Hurricane Sandy and for one day during Winter Storm Nemo.

Tuesday’s MCAS ELA Composition exam was moved to Monday, March 25.

Wednesday, March 20, will be an “F” day, following the normal bell 3 schedule, but there will be a short advisory meeting during the break after second block.
