The annual senior progressive dinner took place last Saturday. The school’s seniors gathered together for a class meal, consisting of appetizers, entrees, & desserts. Each student was assigned to make either an appetizer, an entree or a dessert. Senior superlatives were also announced and celebrated at this event.

“It was really fun to journey from one meal to another with everyone,” senior Sharmila Mysore said.
At the progressive dinner, every house comes with its own course. Students start at one house for appetizers, then pile into carpools to “progress” onto the next house for the next course.

This year, senior Everett Tillet’s house held the appetizers, senior Callie Junkin’s house was the location for entrees, and senior Rosa Vitiello hosted the desserts.

Every house had teacher and parent volunteers. According to many students, the progressive dinner was a great bonding experience for the senior class.

“I talked with a lot of people I don’t normally talk to,” Mysore said, “which was really nice.”
