Freshman Sofia Ciciarelli completes her first lap of the girls one mile race, ending with a final time of 6:44.96 minutes. In addition to indoor track, Ciciarelli runs for the WHS cross country team. “I run the mile in track, and compared to when I ran the mile in cross country, it’s very different,” Ciciarelli said. “The mile in cross country felt so much shorter because you go across a piece of land rather than in circles eight times, which can be really draining, and it feels like that mile is three miles.”
