SADD was created at WHS in 1981 with the goal of creating awareness about the consquences of poor choices. “I believe that it is more powerful than people believe and we see the results every other year in the youth risk behavior survey,” junior Daly Place said.

Senior Lily Wadsworth recently competed at a national competition in Seattle for curling and hopes to be a part of the 2022 Olympic team. "I’m the only one in my family who has really stuck with it," Wadsworth said.
This Thursday, the WHS mock trial team advanced to the Elite Eight round of the Massachusetts Bar Association High School Mock Trial Program’s championship bracket. Tomorrow, they will face Marshfield High School, whom the team lost to last year. I know that all of the returning members really want this one to prove that we can beat these guys and take the extra step we werent able to take last year, member Nat Gordon said.

On Thursday, March 6, WHS’s mock trial team defeated Dighton-Rehoboth Regional High School with a score of 98-89, qualifying them for the “Elite Eight” round of the Massachusetts Bar Association High School Mock Trial Program’s championship bracket.

Over the summer, Parseghian looked into the problem and decided to hire a company to replace one window pane. Currently, the two rows of window panes stretch across all of the side windows of the commons, but there will most likely be no other additions.
