Allison Wei September 10, 2013
Sitting in his office at 9 a.m., new athletic director Steve Cass is busy typing away on his computer, confirming sport schedules for the next day. Even though he’ll be done with this task within an hour, his day has just begun. Once the clock hits 10, parents, coaches and students alike will be coming into his office to talk about various sports issues that they have. After all these meetings, he will then have to make sure all the fields and equipment are ready for the afternoon’s games.
Above, seniors Maddie Conroy, Sarah Mitty, and junior Julia Chinman visit Betanzos, Galicia, Spain. This week, students from IES Francisco Aguiar will come to Wayland as part of an exchange program. “[Everyone in Spain] was very friendly to me,” senior Sammy Karle, another student who went to Betanzos last year, said. “Life moves a little slower there; everyone is calm, and it is more relaxed there than it is here in America.”

Warrior Weekly: The last one

Harry Falber July 16, 2013
Hey guys, wow, I can’t believe we made it to my final post of the 2012-2013 school year. This year, I ended up with 30 blog posts, only one less than Andrew did last year. I hope you enjoyed reading every single one. This was a great year in Wayland sports. We saw Super Bowls, deep playoff runs and even huge upsets. It was a perfect year.
