The Wayland town center is still looking for businesses to fill the vacant lots. Signs with information about leasing opportunities in order to try and fill empty spaces have been hung in the windows.

Walgreens is opening on the south side of Wayland near the 110 Grill and Donelan's. This area is almost completely full of new businesses, and some older ones that have been in the area for a while.
