Who arranged the playlist?
“Our senior captains Marley Miller and Ella L’Esperance made the playlist originally, but our assistant coach, Kylie, also gave us another playlist that we use sometimes,” junior Sofia Barris said.

Do any of the songs have a special meaning to your team?
“Last year we had this song called ‘My family’ by Migos and it has ‘The Adams Family’ sound in it,” Barris said. “It was our anthem that we would always listen to before games, so we resurrected it this season.”

How does your playlist affect the team?
“I think for our team to get warmed up and hyped for the game, we need to have upbeat music that everyone enjoys to get us into game mode,” Barris said. “Home games are especially exciting because we get to use our own music.”

Anything else you want to say about the playlist?
“Personally, I think that music is really important to get you focused in certain situations, especially when you’re about to play a game because you have to be energetic, and having a core playlist helps to achieve that,” Barris said.
