COVID-19’s impact on the operation of WHS is clearly visible. Fully packed stands, unmasked faces and school dances seem like distant memories, but they were a reality a mere year ago.

During lunch, over 100 students once gathered at tightly-packed tables while they ate, but this year, the Commons is filled with desks that are six feet apart and facing one wall. Additionally, students must scan a QR code at each desk to allow for contact tracing if necessary.
