Classic Clocks Etc. preserves the art of time

April 20, 2023

Located on 135 Boston Post Rd, Wayland, Massachusetts, Classic Clocks Etc. has been fixing the time in Wayland for over 30 years. Lee Smith opened the store in the early 90s, and he now co-owns it with his wife, Wilma Heus. Heus worked for her father in her home country of the Netherlands. Her father owned a jewelry store, and she grew up in the clock fixing business. From grandfather clocks that are over eight feet tall to mantle clocks made of onyx to clocks dating back to before the American Revolution, Smith and Heus sell it all. The owners share the history of their business and the art of clock repair.
