Kicking off the evening: Pre-prom

Before attendees boarded the buses that would take them to the prom venue, they filled the high school courtyard in style. Students were given the opportunity to walk down an orange carpet, showing off their looks to families and friends. The orange carpet has been a Wayland High School prom tradition for many years.

Seniors Jamie Nolan and Dylan Wood walk arm-in-arm down the orange carpet, smiling at family members who are taking pictures. Nolan wore a light blue bow tie to match his date's blue dress, coordinating their outfits as many dates do for prom.
