On Sunday, March 17 and Saturday, March 23, the Grout-Heard House Museum in Wayland held a Dollhouse Open House, a special exhibit with dollhouses from a variety of time periods and places. The exhibit was designed to engage people of all ages and to teach visitors about history in a playful way.

A guest book surrounded by a donation jar and a themed display welcomes visitors. As Wayland's Historical Society, the Grout-Heard House Museum relies on donations to run several of its events.
