WSPN’s Edge Wheeler and Staff Reporter Alex Evangelista wrote about the boys and girls hockey teams securing funding from WHS. WSPN’s Chloe Zilembo and Editor Marissa Mendoza briefed recent playoff games for WHS student athletes. Co-Editor-in-Chief Reva Datar briefed details on the Class of 2024’s graduation.

Features:

Co-Editor Penelope Biddle spotlighted senior Brendan Hines newest movie, “Senior Assassin”.

Sports:

WSPN’s Melina Barris interviewed members of the girls varsity lacrosse team about their playoff season. WSPN’s Jeffery Zhang wrote about the Class of 2024 finishing their last season of high school sports.

Opinion:

WSPN’s Emma Zocco and Elyssa Grillo shared their opinions on the process of buying concert tickets.

Staff reporter Fiona Peltonen shared Russell’s Garden Center Employees top five gardening tips. WSPN’s Jane Tardif interviewed June’s artist of the month, Zoe Roi.

Multimedia:

WSPN’s Natalie Greenaway and Staff Reporter Addison Voight took photos of Wayland High School’s Theatre Ensemble (WHSTE) performance of the musical “RENT”. Staff Reporters Vanessa Taxiarchis and Jillian Mele produced a gallery on WHS’s Window Dance Ensemble’s annual spring show.

Broadcast:

Co-Editors Carolina Sdoia and Tardif and Staff Reporter Jessi Dretler broke down Wayland’s news in the Weekly Breakdown Episode 87. WSPN’s Bowen Morrison and staff reporter Ben Jackson shared their thoughts on the Boston Celtics’ playoff run. Dretler and Barris discuss tips for studying for final exams. Sdoia and Dretler demonstrated a step by step process of making slime while discussing the history of slime over the years.
