Friday night lights: Wayland triumphs over Hopkinton

The Wayland Warriors faced the Hopkinton Hillers on Friday, Sept. 13, at the Wayland turf. Despite losing to Hopkinton the last two years, Wayland took the win with a final score of 30-0. Varsity football head coach Scott Parseghian earned his 150th win with Wayland.

While head football coach Scott Parseghian talks to the team, he awards the Gladiator Helmet to senior Cole Chase for his contributions to the game. The Gladiator Helmet is awarded every game to a player who played well during the game. "It's a great honor when you win 30-0 to get the gladiator helmet," Chase said. "[The goal is to] just keep winning, just keep winning."
