The Wayland/Watertown boys varsity hockey team, the Raiders, took a loss on Saturday, Feb. 1, after playing their senior night game against Melrose High School. The final score was 2-1. According to some team members, despite expecting a better outcome, they feel that they all put in a lot of effort during the game. “I know all of the underclassmen were working really hard to try to get the seniors a win on senior night,” senior captain Jack Gavron said. “Unfortunately, we were not able to come out with the win, but I think the effort was definitely there.”
