The wait is over! More than 177 Wayland High School (WHS) seniors have come to a final decision on where they will continue their academic journey this fall. With about 6,000 colleges and universities in the U.S. to choose from, picking the perfect school may feel like picking a single star in the night sky. When trying to chose their next four year endeavor, there could be months of consideration and pages of pros versus cons lists.
Now that the May 1 deadline has passed, seniors are asked to forget their hours spent debating and come up with why they chose that specific star in the universe. Many of the seniors who responded to WSPNs survey identified location, academics and size of the school as their most important reasons for choosing to attend, while some others credited the weather, food, programs and family history at the school.
