On Saturday, May 17, Wayland High School students attended the Class of 2026 Prom. Before heading to the prom venue, the Hyatt Regency Boston Harbor, students met at WHS for the Orange Carpet, which lasted from 3:30 p.m. to 4:30 p.m.. Prom-goers walked down the carpet with their dates, having the opportunity to get their photo taken. This was located at the WHS courtyard. After the Orange Carpet, attendees were escorted onto buses, making their way to Boston. Once they arrived, students were able to take photos on Boston Harbor, right outside of the hotel. Then, the entirety of the prom-goers enjoyed some hors d’oeuvres, along with their three course meal soon after. Once the meal concluded, students danced from 8:25 p.m. until 10:30 p.m.. After several hours of dancing, students re-boarded the buses, going back to WHS for “Late Night” run by the Parent Teacher Organization (PTO) from 11:30 p.m. to 1:30 a.m..

The Class of 2026 held its junior prom at the Hyatt Regency Boston Harbor on Saturday, May 17.
