![In previous years, New England ski mountains have left eager skiers unsatisfied because of the sub-par and icy conditions on the slopes. Breaking News: No school Friday, Jan. 7 due to snowstorm

Wayland public schools will have a snow day on Friday, Jan. 7.

On the evening of Thursday, Jan. 6, Wayland Superintendent Dr. Omar Easy announced in an email to families that school is cancelled on Friday, Jan. 7 due to a heavy snowstorm. There will be no remote learning option for students.
“Due to the timing of the impending snow storm and the predicted accumulation, there will be no school tomorrow, Friday, [Jan.] 7, for all students and staff,” Easy said. “Wayland Public School buildings and offices will be closed.”
School returns on Monday, Jan. 10 with an “F-Day” for WHS students.
