![On Wednesday, March 19, teachers from all Wayland Public schools gathered to demonstrate against the recent actions of the Trump administration, which is seeking to shut down the Department of Education.

The boys varsity lacrosse team hosts Newton South on Thursday, May 16. The Warriors lost to Newton South with a final score of 9-8, in a game that came down to the final moments with Wayland scoring two goals and putting seven shots on net within the final two minutes. Following the game, Wayland honored the boys lacrosse seniors, who played their final home game for the team.

Captain junior Braden Leichliter dashes past a Newton South player following a faceoff win. Leichliter has been dominant taking faceoffs on the varsity team since his freshman year, and was named captain at the end of last season as a result of his hard work.
