Junior Daniel Narvaez plans his route during the boys 800 meter run. Narvaez finished third in the DCL small for the half mile, with a time of two minutes and two seconds, qualifying him for the MIAA Division IV State Meet. Last week, Narvaez qualified for the divisional meet in the mile during the Twilight Invitational, where he ran a mile in four minutes and 40 seconds.

Boys lacrosse wins over Waltham

The boys lacrosse team met Waltham at the Wayland turf on Thursday, May 4. Wayland won this game 13-7, making this its fifth win of the season.

Sophomore Jillian Mele hits sticks with her teammates after getting her stick checked by the referee. Our team is very close this year, and I have many of my close friends on the team,  Mele said. It really does feel like a family.

Girls lacrosse scores a win against Winchester

The girls lacrosse team beat Winchester High School 12-8 on Thursday, April 20. The Warriors are now 6-1 on the season.

Sophomore Luke DiPietrio-Froio and junior Ben Wright participate in the boys 110 meter hurdles. Wright got second, and Dipietrio-Froio placed third. Both ran in the 400 meter hurdle race as well. My favorite thing about racing is probably just trying to get the best time I can, Wright said.

Weve had a bit of a tough start to the season, and then more recently we started winning games, so senior night was kind of like a culmination of all the hard work that weve been working for the entire season.
