On Sunday, Oct. 6, the Eliza J. Norton Foundation will be hosting the Celebrate with Heart Community Festival from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m at Cochituate Ball Field.
The event will feature numerous food trucks, Chick-Fil-A catering and Coach Grill catering. For activities, there will be street hockey, painting, screening of the New England Patriots game, a stuffed animal clinic and more. Furthermore, bouncy houses, obstacle courses, fast pitch, basketball, hair braiding, temporary tattoos and more will all be available. Mikey V. from KISS 108 will be emceeing.
The Celebrate with Heart Community Festival is in honor of Eliza J. Norton, and aims to unify the community. There will be a keepsake booth at the event for Norton in which anyone can contribute.
Parking will be limited so the foundation asks that you are willing to walk from another location. If you would like to join in the festivities and celebrate Norton’s life, wear orange or teal, her favorite two colors.
“The Eliza J. Norton Foundation is hosting the Celebrate with Heart Community Festival this weekend to gather, play, eat, dance and celebrate our incredible community in honor of our daughter Eliza,” Co-Chairs Julie Norton and Mark Norton said. “Our team has worked hard to plan a special event and there is something for everyone. Great food, spirited activities, music and Mikey V. with KISS 108 as our emcee. We have many Wayland High School students joining us to face paint, run inflatable activities, serve food, offer hair braiding, custom tattoos and we are so grateful. Come join us.”
