On Tuesday, April 1, Wayland town elections took place in the Wayland Town Building gymnasium from 7 a.m. to 8 p.m.. Wayland residents voted for candidates in the running for positions in the Select Board, Board of Health, Planning Board, Planning Board Associate Member, Recreation Commissioner, Board of Public Works, School Committee, Board of Assessors, Trustees of the Public Library, Commissioner of Trust Funds and Housing Authority.
Due to all of the nominees running unopposed, each candidate was elected for their desired position.
Those who ran for a seat in office are as follows:
Select Board: Thomas Fay
School Committee: Erin Gibbons
Board of Assessors: Steven P. Klitgord
Library Trustees: Anna Blazier and Emily Weintraub
Board of Health: Genevieve Anand
Board of Health: Kathryn Stiff
Planning Board: Jesse Newberry
Planning Board Associate: Nicholas Munkenbeck
Commissioner of Trust Funds: Adam Gutbezahl
Public Works: Michael Wegerbauer and Tsung Ting Chiang
Recreation: Frank Krasin and Asa Foster
Housing Authority: Susan Weinstein
