The Wayland Town Center bustled with Wayland residents for a “Holiday Stroll” on Saturday, Dec. 14. Some businesses in the Wayland Town Center came together that Saturday afternoon in celebration of the holidays. At the start of the afternoon, The Bagel Table hosted some Wayland police officers for some hot chocolate, and some shops, such as ACE Hardware and the Forever Slender Med Spa gave discounts to shoppers or free goodies. At the start of the evening, some Disney characters arrived at the green, and Santa was escorted by the police. Once it was dark, the Christmas tree and Menorah were lit.

As dusk emerges, the empty sidewalks signal that the shoppers have started to stray away from the businesses and towards the green for the arrival of Santa. In the Wayland Town Center, there are a variety of businesses, such as the ADA Vet, Chocolate Therapy and West End Cabinets. Each of these companies created either interactive activities or put out a display of sweet treats for people supporting their establishments.
