Swimming state championship results: Boys take gold, girls take silver

Both the boys and girls swim and dive teams had a successful state championship meet. The boys team won their second straight state championship, while the girls team got second place.

On Sunday, Feb. 15, the boys swim and dive team travelled to the MIT Zesiger Center for the Massachusetts Interscholastic Athletic Association (MIAA) Division II State Championship. They came home with their second straight state championship.

With a final point total of 291 points, Wayland edged out Weston for the top spot.

On Saturday, Feb. 14, the girls swim and dive team travelled to the MIT Zesiger Center to compete in the MIAA Division II State Championship. Wayland finished in second place, only five points behind Weston.
