What do you think about the construction? Is it distracting?
As Wayland pushes ahead with construction of the new school, students are still attending classes on the old campus. Here’s what some students had to say about the construction:
Elizabeth Karpacz
Freshman
“It doesn’t really affect me, except sometimes my classes will vibrate.”
David Dines
Freshman
“The construction is bittersweet because the school has been here for so long, and it’s a part of everyone. It’s also going to be different because we’re going to have a new school, and it’s going to be cool.”
Maddie Ponsetto
Sophomore
“The construction shakes my classes. Otherwise it doesn’t affect me at all.”
Tyler Malloy
Sophomore
“In the TV production room there is this high pitched whine, and it makes your ears feel like they’re about to bleed.”
Juliette Bastarache
Junior
“I think the construction is very distracting in class. It’s not as bad as I thought it would be. We’re lucky it’s not worse.”
Alex Orlov
Junior
“I don’t notice the construction all that much during school.”
Tracy Oakley
Senior
“I’m glad I’m a senior, so it doesn’t really apply to me too much, [because] I don’t drive. But to be honest I don’t like the two building design.”
Taylor Dieffenbach
Senior
“I feel like it needs to be done because in a few years there [will] definitely need to be a new school. I think that sometimes it’s a bit distracting, especially in the history building.”
Lina Cowen
Senior
“I think that the construction isn’t too distracting except for when you’re in the media center, and it feels like there’s an earthquake. But it just adds a little excitement to the day.”
Mrs. Langelier
French Teacher
“The construction hasn’t been bothering me that much. The only thing is when I can’t get here at seven o’clock, and I have to park in the tennis court lot. That’s been tough.”
What’s your take?

Sadly, I disagree with most of these. I believe the construction has cause a big disturbance and I was upset to see that you didn't include anyone in the article whom opposed it.

for maddie's quote it's "affect" not "effect"
