After almost a year and a half of construction, the new buildings have actually begun to look like a school. Check out the cafeteria, bathrooms, science labs, offices and more.

Are you kidding me. Who ever picked these colors should have their head examined. Are we living in the 50's. The existing school should have been taken care of and that way we wouldn't have to spend millions of dollars on this complete eye sore. Someone have some common sense please. Wayland has become a place where people seemed to have lost their brains. This new school is disgusting.
I love the colors! I don't know what your talking about. It gives the school spunk and almost breathes life into it unlike grey that makes me want to curl up and sleep. I think that I the colors around students effect the mood and its a neutral then they will be tired and groggy, but if its colorful it will give students energy to focus on their studies.
I'm going to miss the old WHS. With two parents and 5 aunts and uncles having gone there, it makes me sad knowing that 2011 was the last class to graduate from those brick buildings.
i wish they had gone with a black and orange color scheme. tiles similar to the color funky fruit by benjamin moore combined with a nice gray would have been so great, very warm and inviting AND wayland pride! and yeah, those bathroom tiles are pretty intense on the eyes. who decided on the colors and such? should have let the art students have a say. i'm cringing right now.
