This spring the Wayland High School Theatre Ensemble will be performing Fame The Musical. Fame will be the first musical performed in the new Main Stage. Fame follows the stories of several students as they learn about themselves as performers at New York City’s High School of Performing Arts.
The play features fourteen principal characters as well as many other actors and actresses. The principal characters range from Carmen Diaz, an edgy, latina dancer, to Mr. Sheinkopf, a European music teacher with high expectations, to Serena Katz, a hard-working acting student.
The fourteen principal characters are as follows:
