baseball should get turf

I think the fact that the XC team was even at this debate is ridiculous… they should have been given the turf outright. While some teams are forced to occasionally play on grass, the XC hasn't been granted a single turf practice since its installation! This outrage must be adressed. End this joke now, and give the turf to the most deserving team: Wayland Cross Country

simple physics: the friction of grass on a fh ball has a much greater influence than the friction of grass on a soccer ball– I have also heard the soccer coach say she would actually prefer playing on grass !

Cross Country made a a convincing argument and the school should pay more attention to them. I mean look at how healthy they are.

I would like to draw attention to the fact that Gurph had a serious finger injury as can be seen at 2:12, but kept her arguments clear throughout the whole debate, just further showing the strength and endurance the cross country team possesses. I think everyone came to the conclusion that Cross Country owns that turf and is the most influential sport in Wayland.

matt has a good point, football never actually uses the ground compared to all the other sports…
