How many years have you been dancing?
“This is my eleventh year dancing.”
What are you excited about this season?
“I am excited to help with choreography because I have never choreographed a dance before.”
What are you most nervous about this season?
“I’m a little nervous for the show, but not that nervous.”
Do you dance outside of this group? If yes, where do you dance?
“I do dance outside of Window. I dance at Broadway Bound Dance Center.”
What is your favorite type of dance?
“My favorite type of dance is probably jazz.”
How did you get into dancing?
“I got into dancing because my mom signed me up for a class when I was four. I just really loved it, and [I] have done it ever since.”
Julia Mele, Freshman
How many years have you been dancing?
“I have been dancing for about 6 years.”
What are you excited about this season?
“I’m really excited to meet new people this season and be a part of a team like this.”
What are you most nervous about this season?
“I’m probably most nervous to perform in front of my classmates and friends because I’m used to just performing in front of my family and a bunch of random people I don’t know.”
Do you dance outside of this group? If yes, where do you dance?
“Yes, I dance on the senior crew at House of Dance Sudbury outside of Window.”
What is your favorite type of dance?
“I really like jazz and contemporary, but I think hip-hop is my favorite.”
How did you get into dancing?
“I got into dancing because I was kind of just put into it as a kid. I loved doing it, and I’ve just never wanted to stop.”
Lily Jenzeh, Sophomore
How many years have you been dancing?
“I have been dancing for 7 years.”
What are you excited about this season?
“I’m excited for this season because I stopped dancing for a couple of years, so I’m happy to get back into it. It is the best group, and it seems like a blast.”
What are you most nervous about this season?
“I’m pretty nervous to perform I guess.”
Do you dance outside of this group? If yes, where do you dance?
“I currently don’t dance outside of this group, but I used to dance for Broadway Bound Dance Center.”
What is your favorite type of dance?
“My favorite type of dance is definitely jazz or hip-hop.
How did you get into dancing?
“I don’t really remember why I got into dance because I was pretty young.”
Joyce Wu, Sophomore
How many years have you been dancing?
“I have been dancing since I was three years old, but I started to take it seriously when I was about 12.”
What are you excited about this season?
“I’m really excited to choreograph dances this season because it is something I have never done before.”
What are you most nervous about this season?
“I’m most nervous to learn and remember dances. I have never really been in this many dances, so it is definitely going to be hard to pick up so much choreography.”
Do you dance outside of this group? If yes, where do you dance?
“I dance at Metrowest Dance Academy.”
What is your favorite type of dance?
“My favorite type of dance is probably ballet because it is so versatile. Even if you have a bit of ballet training, you’ll be able to succeed in a lot of different types of dance.”
How did you get into dancing?
“My mom took me to ballet lessons when I was about three, and I just fell in love with it ever since.”
