BREAKING NEWS: Power outages at WHS, Happy Hollow

WHS and Happy Hollow experienced short power outages at approximately 11 a.m. on Sept. 25.

The power went out in the South Building at WHS at approximately 11 a.m. on Wednesday, Sept. 25. Power went out in the North Building shortly after, and Happy Hollow Elementary School suffered an outage as well. While Happy Hollow’s energy status is currently unknown, the power returned to WHS at approximately 11:30 a.m.
NStar of Eversource, New England’s largest energy provider, sent trucks to WHS. It was, however, not enough to save neither the hot lunch nor the pizza, which were unavailable due to the outage.
