![Gap years are an uncommon alternative for high school graduates, in which graduates take a year or more off from schooling and pursue something separate from college until they are ready to return to their education or something else. The boys and girls varsity crew teams prepared for the Head Of The Fish Regatta during practice on Wednesday, Oct. 23 and Thursday, Oct. 24. The regatta will take place in Saratoga, New York at Fish Creek on Sunday, Oct. 27.

The rowers in the girls first varsity eight boat drive their oars forward as the sun sets. On Sunday, Oct. 20, the group raced at the Head of The Charles Regatta. The boat finished No. 69 in a field of 90 teams.
