The pitch of the ground outside both wings allows snow and rain buildup to funnel toward the back doors of the building. Last February water buildup leaked through the doors, flooding rooms B138 and B140.
Drains will redirect water into the woods located behind the South building.
Starting next week, a landscaping crew will arrive to dispose of dead trees, reseed the lawns in the front of the building and trim shrubs behind the building. The landscaping is expected to last for two additional weeks.
