Timberlake again demonstrates why he is the most likeable and talented artist in today’s tepid pop landscape.
7. Reflektor – Arcade Fire
Canada’s Arcade Fire has yet to release a dud, and the quality of their music is remarkably strong and remarkably consistent.
8. Doris – Earl Sweatshirt
The most mysterious and most talented MC in Los Angeles rap group Odd Future matures lyrically while keeping his eerie musical feel alive.
9. The Next Day – David Bowie
Bowie’s first release in 10 years impresses old fans as well as newer generations.
10. Pure Heroine – Lorde
The 17-year-old singer proves she is mature beyond her years.
