WHSTE’s Winter One Act “Reckless” to perform on Friday
WHSTE’s Winter One-Act Reckless is coming to Wayland High School this Friday, March 2, and Friday, March 9, at 7 p.m. Reckless, written by Craig Lucas, is a dark comedy involving the happy and bubbly Rachel, who learns that her husband, Tom, hired someone to assassinate her. Rachel escapes, and the play details her adventure. Along the way, she learns how everyone has dark secrets of their own. Senior Melinda Kalanzis plays the character Rachel, Tom is played by sophomore Matthew Behrle, Lloyd is played by senior Kylin Peng and Pooty is played by freshman Rebecca Patsnecker.
Tickets will be sold at the door and are $10 for adults and $5 for students. The play lasts 40 minutes and rated PG-13 for language and mature themes. This play will also be put on at the Massachusetts High School Drama Festival at Norwood High School on Saturday, March 3.
