Isabel Gitten, Editor-in-Chief

Isabel Gitten is co-editor-in-chief of WSPN. She is a senior and this is her third year on WSPN. Isabel was Multimedia editor last year. She rows on the Wayland-Weston crew team and plays basketball. She is also a co-director of WHS' coed a cappella group, the Madrigals. In the summer, Isabel is a counselor at a YMCA girls overnight camp.

The Commons at WHS. Waylands chapter of the National Honor Society will host a charity event featuring numerous golfing games and carnival events dedicated toward cancer care and research. The event will begin at 10 a.m. on Oct. 20. “This is a really great opportunity to support the fight against cancer,” Wayland NHS President and senior Matthew Karle said.

Pictured above is Camp Nellie Huckins, an all-girls camp in New Hampshire. “All of the best moments were the small things that happened randomly. The late nights talking with friends, trying to go for a run and dying, morning swims, singing on the tables, dressing up like crazy people for lunches and more,” Johnson said.
