Teresa Hank Gomez is an 17 year old exchange student from Germany for this year at Wayland High school. She enjoy’s performing as a dancer and is a passionate singer. In her free time she likes to meet friends, paint and listen to music.

"Luckily, as a senior I don’t really have that many midterms. I only have one in my elective Spanish class. I just like to go over the vocabulary by myself or with a friend; I have them quiz me. [I try to get] the information in my head and then use the Spanish in my everyday [life]. [For example, if] I see a desk I [say] 'oh, el escritorio', when I see a tree, I [say], 'oh those are los arboles' and so on. "I definitely study for them but I play the tuba, so I have a big audition the weekend before. That's all I that think about, and when that’s over, I [think] 'oh my god it’s midterms now,' so I start [with] the ones that are harder, [like] science. [However], for my english midterms, I study the night before. "I start studying the the week before. I also study the day of the midterm [if my exams take place over] the second session. I do a lot of review and do a bunch of quizzes because quizzes help me remember. I don’t actually do the quizzes; I just make them.
