The girls varsity field hockey team hosted Westford Academy on Monday, Sept. 23 at the turf. During the school day, players wore teal and orange as their “psyche” to honor Eliza Norton, who was a young Wayland resident that passed away two years ago. Norton was not only honored during the school day, but before the game began by the announcer. The game ended in a tie, with a final score of 0-0. Wayland’s current record is 0-1-5.
