News:

Co-Editor-in-Chief Emily Roberge briefed the awards WSPN recently won. WSPN’s Katya Luzarraga shared information about the Class of 2024’s “Parent Dance” fundraiser.

Co-Editor-in-Chief Genevieve Morrison and WSPN’s Tess Alongi reported on the School Committee meeting on March 1. Meanwhile, Staff Reporter Selena Liu wrote about the ongoing issue of juniors taking senior parking spots.

Sports:

WSPN’s Bella Schreiber reported on the success of the girls swim team this season.

“This year, Wayland girls remained undefeated throughout the regular season and finished with a win in DCL’s,” Schreiber wrote. “Its record is 14-0.”

Co-Editor Sasha Libenzon and Staff Reporter Hallie Luo photographed the The Creative Arts Parents Association a capella concert.

“The concert included WHS groups: T-Tone, Madrigals and Muses,” Libenzon and Luo wrote. “In addition to WHS’s groups, the following college groups performed: Northeastern’s Pitch, Please, Brandeis’ VoiceMale and Tufts’ Beelzebubs.”

A&E:

Editor Talia Macchi shared information about WHSTE’s “Lost Girl.” Meanwhile, Luo and Staff Reporter Jenny Shine reviewed season three of “Outer Banks.”

Opinion:

Staff Reporter Jeffery Zhang shared his opinion on how Wu Yibing’s Dallas Open win will change Chinese tennis.

“If Wu can show young Chinese tennis players that they have the potential to be great in tennis, maybe China will produce more professional tennis players,” Zhang wrote. “With more professional tennis players, perhaps China will eventually become a major powerhouse in the sport of tennis.”

Broadcast:

Co-Editors Jackie Cahaly and Deirdre Brown, along with Staff Reporters Abby Raftery and Lucy Grasso, reviewed Tatte in episode 11 of The Picky Eater Picks. Meanwhile, Cahaly and Grasso tried Sisters Cafe in episode 12 of The Picky Eater Picks.
