Catching Fire by Suzanne Collins: Because I can read that book over and over again, it’s one of my favorites.
Journals: To record my adventures and my experiences.
Passport: So I could travel around the world.
Dinosaur cup: So I can stay hydrated in style.
Letters and cards from friends: Because if I can’t bring them with me at least I can bring a part of them.
Converse: These converses were given to me because someone said “If I was to wear these I should wear them on an adventure,” so if I were to be going away for ten years these would be the shoes to wear.
Batman socks: These are just my favorite socks.
Picture of family: I don’t need to be far away to be away from so I’ll probably miss them.

![Wayland Historical Society Executive Director Scarlett Hoey explains the history of the Cochituate Gatehouse.
"The exterior is still a nice monument to remember buildings [involved in] water history," Hoey said. "We all drink lots of water, and it's such an important resource that we kind of take for granted nowadays."](https://waylandstudentpress.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/06/IMG_2024-1200x800.jpg)
